Adler Royal 013116 Purple Ink Rollers

This six-pack of compatible purple ink rollers replaces the Adler Royal 013116 ribbon cartridge. It fits a wide range of point-of-sale printers including Adler Royal 470CR and ER-185 models, plus numerous Allen R.C., Aster, Gold, Olivetti Mercator, TCA, Triumph Adler, Unitrex and Uniwell machines. The rollers are built to OEM specifications for sharp, professional output on receipts and invoices.

Installation and common issues

Each roller drops into the printer’s ribbon compartment without tools; simply remove the spent roller and press the new one into place until it clicks. The most frequent problem is forgetting to peel the protective seal from the ink reservoir, which prevents ink flow and produces faint print. Misalignment of the drive gear can also cause the roller to stall, so ensure the gear teeth engage cleanly before closing the cover.

Practical limits of ink roller technology

Ink rollers deliver consistent density for high-volume transaction printing but cannot match the sharpness of thermal or laser output for fine graphics or small barcodes. Purple ink is single-colour only, so colour-coding or branding requires a different consumable. The rollers are manufactured in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities for 110 V machines and carry a 30-day manufacturer warranty.

Questions about this item

How do I know the purple ink rollers are working correctly after installation?

Print a test receipt or invoice on your compatible Adler Royal or Olivetti Mercator printer; sharp, consistent purple text with no fading or smudging confirms proper operation.

What comes in the pack and is anything else required?

The box contains six purple ink rollers ready to install; no additional parts or cartridges are needed for the listed Adler Royal, Allen R.C., Aster, Gold, Olivetti Mercator, TCA, Triumph Adler, Unitrex or Uniwell models.

Which pack size should I choose for a high-volume retail environment?

The six-roller pack is the only option offered; each roller provides extended ink retention to reduce replacement frequency during heavy daily printing.
