Compatible Axiohm A714 Ribbon Pack

This six-pack of black/red printer ribbons replaces the Axiohm 1000629005BR cartridge. It fits Axiohm A714, Tidel is-1000 and Tidel is-6000 point-of-sale printers. The ribbons are built to OEM specifications using new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. They are designed for 110V machines sold in the U.S. and carry a 30-day manufacturer warranty.

Upgrades Worn OEM Ribbons

The compatible ribbons replace original Axiohm cartridges when print quality fades or the ribbon is exhausted. The jump is worth it when a business needs consistent, sharp output for receipts and invoices without paying OEM pricing. Excellent ink retention reduces replacement frequency during high-volume printing. Use of compatible supplies does not void the printer manufacturer warranty under U.S. law.

Thermal Transfer Interface Limits

The ribbons operate through the printer's thermal transfer mechanism, so output quality depends on the printhead condition and correct tension. They are only validated for the listed Axiohm and Tidel models; other P.O.S. printers may not align the ribbon correctly. Packaging may vary between shipments but does not affect performance. The product is intended for U.S. market machines.

Questions about this item

Which printer models accept the Axiohm 1000629005BR ribbon cartridge?

The cartridge fits Axiohm A714, Tidel is-1000 and Tidel is-6000 point-of-sale printers.

How do I install the ribbon and what step is often missed?

Open the printer cover, drop the cartridge into the cradle until it clicks, then advance the ribbon manually to remove slack before closing the cover.

When should I replace the black/red ribbon in a high-volume POS environment?

Replace it when print becomes faint or the red stripe no longer appears on receipts; excellent ink retention extends intervals but heavy use will deplete the ribbon faster.
