SuppliesMax ZC080 Black Ribbon 6 Pack

This pack contains six black dot-matrix printer ribbons built as compatible replacements for the Basic Four-MAI ZC080 part number. They are made for businesses that run legacy impact printers for receipts, invoices and other continuous-form documents. Each ribbon is manufactured to OEM dimensions so it fits the original cartridge without modification.

Sustained high-volume printing behaviour

Premium ink formulation and tight material tolerances give consistent density across long print runs, reducing the fade that often appears after a few thousand characters on lower-grade ribbons. Excellent ink retention keeps the fabric saturated during idle periods, so the first page of a new batch stays sharp. The ribbon advance mechanism feeds smoothly, minimising snags that halt a batch job.

Compatibility limits of the ZC080 interface

The ribbon matches the ZC080 spool geometry used in the Basic Four-MAI 4215 and a range of legacy machines including AT&T 477, Apricot ACT Writer 16, Aptec DPL-24, Computers International Daisywriter Matrix 24, Daisywriter 24, Four Phase PT-235, Harris 4420, Motorola Computer Systems PT-235, Qantel 4350, Qantel 4351 and Qantel 4352. Printers that require a different spool width, core diameter or drive notch will not accept this ribbon.

Questions about this item

Does the ribbon generate extra noise or heat during continuous printing on a Basic Four-MAI 4215?

No, the ribbon is a passive consumable that adds no noise, heat or power draw; the printer itself determines those factors.

Which printer models must I already own for these ribbons to fit?

They fit the Basic Four-MAI 4215 and ZC080, plus compatibles such as AT&T 477, Apricot ACT Writer 16, Aptec DPL-24, Computers International Daisywriter Matrix 24, Daisywriter 24, Four Phase PT-235, Harris 4420, Motorola PT-235, Qantel 4350, 4351 and 4352.

Will the ribbon work reliably in older Daisywriter 24 or Qantel 4350 machines I still use?

Yes, the ribbon is built to OEM specifications for those legacy models and delivers consistent output in high-volume business printing.
