SuppliesMax BRT1230 Correctable Ribbon Pack

SuppliesMax BRT1230 is a six-pack of black correctable typewriter ribbons built to match OEM specifications. The ribbons are designed for consistent print quality and reliable feeding in compatible Brother machines. Each cartridge delivers sharp characters for documents such as receipts and invoices. The pack supplies enough ribbons for extended high-volume use.

Compatible Brother Typewriter Models

This pack fits a wide range of Brother electronic typewriters and word processors including AX, Compactronic, Correctronic, EM, GX, LW, ML, SX and WP series. Offices that rely on these legacy machines for forms or archival work will find a direct replacement here. Users of non-Brother typewriters or modern printers cannot use these ribbons. Buyers needing colour ribbons or non-correctable film should look elsewhere.

Brother 1230 Part Number Compatibility

The decisive specification is compatibility with the Brother 1230 part number. Only machines listed as accepting the 1230 ribbon will work with this pack. Verify the model number on the typewriter before ordering. No other specification determines fit.

Questions about this item

Which Brother typewriter models does the BRT1230 ribbon fit?

The ribbon fits Brother AX models from AX-10 through AX-625, Compactronic 300 to 380, Correctronic 140 to 380, EM-30 to EM-350e, GX-6000 to GX-9750, LW-10 to LW-450, ML-100 to ML-500, SX-14 to SX-4000, WP-1150 to WP-1400D, Student-Riter II and others listed.

How is the correctable ribbon installed in the typewriter?

Open the top cover, remove the old cassette, align the new ribbon cassette with the guide posts, press down until it clicks, then turn the take-up knob to tension the ribbon before closing the cover.

When should the six-pack of ribbons be replaced?

Replace a ribbon when printed characters become faint or correction tape fails to lift ink cleanly; each ribbon in the pack is a single-use cassette, so swap the whole cassette when print quality drops.
