SuppliesMax 53-70390-001 replaces DataCard 53-70390-001 in 6800, 8220, 8600 and 8620 printers. Each pack contains six black/red ink ribbons built to OEM specifications for point-of-sale receipt and invoice printing. The compatible design fits the original cartridge slot without modification.

Sustained high-volume printing

Premium materials and strong ink retention keep output sharp across long print runs without frequent ribbon changes. ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 factory controls ensure consistent density from the first receipt to the last in a batch. Designed for 110 V machines sold in the U.S., the ribbons maintain reliable feed and colour separation under continuous duty.

Upgrades from worn OEM ribbons

Replaces faded or depleted DataCard 53-70390-001 cartridges when print quality drops or ribbon advance becomes erratic. The six-pack quantity reduces ordering overhead for busy counters and back-office stations. Not suited for printers outside the listed DataCard series or for single-colour black-only applications.

Questions about this item

How much power does the SuppliesMax DataCard 53-70390-001 ribbon draw during continuous daily printing?

The ribbon is a passive consumable with no electrical draw; only the DataCard 6800, 8220, 8600 or 8620 printer itself uses power.

Which printer must I already own for this 6-pack to work?

You need a DataCard 6800, 8220, 8600 or 8620 series P.O.S. printer; the ribbon fits no other models.

Will the black/red output stay sharp on a DataCard 6800 that has been in service for years?

Yes, the ribbon is built to OEM specifications for those printers and delivers consistent, professional print quality on older units.
