Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the Hermes 550NX ribbon generate during continuous high-volume printing?

The ribbon itself produces no heat or noise; all sound and warmth come from the dot-matrix printhead and motor of the Hermes calculator or printer you install it in.

Which specific Hermes or Ibico machine must I already own for these six black/red ribbons to fit?

They fit Hermes 3000, 3100, 3200, 3300, 3400, 3700, 386, 4300, 4500, 4600, 4700, 4800, 5400, 5500, 5600, 5700, Precisa 3000, Precisa 385, Ibico 1252, 1262, 1462, 2500, ECR and Logabax LX-60 models.

Will the 550NX ribbon work reliably in an older Hermes 3000 calculator that I plan to keep using?

Yes, the ribbon is listed as compatible with the Hermes 3000 series, so it will install and print correctly in that legacy unit.
