Compatible Correctable Ribbon for IBM WheelWriter

This six-pack of black correctable ribbons is built to match the IBM 1380999 specification. It fits a wide range of WheelWriter and Lexmark WheelWriter models including the 3, 5, 6, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 70 and 1000 through 7000 series. Offices and home users with these typewriters get a direct replacement that installs in seconds.

Correctable film limits erasing to current line

The ribbon uses a correctable film that lifts the last typed character when the correction key is pressed. It cannot erase multiple lines or blocks of text after the carriage has moved. Each ribbon is single-use; once the film is exhausted the cartridge must be swapped. No ink residue transfers to fingers during changeover.

Replaces OEM 1380999 cartridges on listed models

This pack replaces the original IBM 1380999 ribbon on every machine listed in the compatibility table. The jump is worth it when the original ribbon is depleted or when print density becomes uneven. It is not for printers that use fabric ribbons, cassette ribbons, or any non-WheelWriter impact mechanism.
