Compatible ribbon for Citizen CBM-820

This six-pack of SuppliesMax IR-82BR ribbons replaces the Citizen IR-82BR cartridge in CBM-820 point-of-sale printers. The black/red ink formulation produces sharp receipts and invoices for retail and hospitality counters. Each ribbon is built to match OEM dimensions and ink density for reliable feeding.

Thermal transfer interface limits

The ribbon advances mechanically inside the printer, so print speed and head temperature are governed by the CBM-820 mechanism rather than the ribbon itself. Ink retention is designed to last through high-volume shifts without smearing, but the printer determines maximum characters per second and line density. No electronic negotiation or firmware handshake is involved.

Upgrade from single OEM cartridges

Buyers currently purchasing original Citizen ribbons one at a time gain a lower cost per roll and fewer change-outs during busy periods. The pack suits operators who print continuously throughout the day and want spares on hand. It does not address needs for colour beyond black/red or for printers outside the CBM-820 series.
