Compatible NEC 50-013P replacement

This six-pack of purple printer ribbons replaces the NEC 50-013P part number and equivalent OEM references. Each ribbon is built to match original specifications for dot-matrix impact printers. The pack suits offices that run high-volume printing of receipts, invoices and multipart forms.

Dot-matrix impact printing limits

Dot-matrix ribbons rely on mechanical impact, so output speed and noise level are fixed by the printer mechanism, not the ribbon. Ink retention is designed to stay consistent across long print runs, but the ribbon cannot add colour options beyond purple or improve resolution beyond the printer's native capability.

Upgrade from worn or depleted ribbons

Swapping an exhausted ribbon for a fresh one restores legible, high-contrast text on carbon-copy sets. The jump is worth it when printouts show fading, uneven density or missing characters on multipart forms. This pack does not suit printers that require a different cartridge geometry or ink formulation.
