Compatible Olympia Dot Matrix Ribbon

This SuppliesMAX ribbon pack replaces the Olympia 72726BR cartridge for a wide range of dot matrix printers. Each pack contains six black and red ink ribbons built to match OEM specifications. The ribbons are designed for receipts, invoices and high-volume business printing where clear, two-colour output is required. They provide a direct drop-in replacement for the original Olympia consumable.

Check printer model before ordering

Verify that your machine appears in the compatibility list, which covers numerous Olympia EC, CP, CPD, CM, CA and PD series models as well as several Silver Reed, Shipman Ward, Optima and Pacemaker units. The ribbon uses a specific cartridge geometry that fits only the listed printers. Confirm the exact model number on your device to avoid a mismatch. No other printer brands or series are supported by this ribbon design.

Suits offices with listed Olympia hardware

Buyers operating any of the compatible Olympia, Silver Reed, Shipman Ward, Optima or Pacemaker dot matrix printers can use this six-pack for routine black and red printing. It is not intended for laser, inkjet or thermal transfer devices. Users who need colour output beyond black and red, or who own printers not named in the compatibility list, should look for a ribbon specified for their exact model.

Questions about this item

What comes in the pack and is anything else needed to install it?

The pack contains six black/red printer ribbons ready to fit the listed Olympia dot-matrix models; no additional parts are required for installation.

How do I know which ribbon matches my machine among the many model numbers?

Match your printer model to the compatibility list — examples include Olympia EC-3000, EC-4000, EC-5000, EC-6000, EC-7000, EC-8000, CP-510, CP-550, CM-820, CPD-2410, CPD-5312, CPD-5421, PD-10, PD-12 and the Silver Reed 1211P, 1220PM, 1230PD, 1260PD.

What does the black/red colour split mean for everyday printing?

The ribbon prints black text with red highlights, so invoices, receipts and journal entries show totals or corrections in red while the body text stays black.
