Compatible Olympia typewriter ribbons

This six-pack of black correctable ribbons replaces the Olympia 79290 cartridge and fits a wide range of Olympia, Remington, Savin, Printstar and Unisys machines. Each ribbon is built to OEM specifications using new and recycled components in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities. The correctable film allows clean character removal for professional documents such as receipts and invoices.

Correctable film limits

The ribbon uses a correctable film formulation that lifts cleanly from standard bond paper but may not erase cleanly from coated, glossy or heavily textured stock. Ink retention is designed for high-volume typing, yet the film is single-use and cannot be rewound or refilled. Compatibility is limited to the listed typewriter models and equivalent OEM part numbers.

Check your model before ordering

Verify that your typewriter appears in the compatibility list, which includes Olympia 6010, 6020, 6110, 6510, 6610, 77C, SGE-77 and SGE-77C as well as Remington 5000C, SE-6000, SR-101, SR-101C, SR-101CEF, SR-202 and TE-6000. Machines not listed — such as later electronic word processors or non-correctable daisy-wheel units — will not accept this ribbon.
