Compatible Purple Ribbon Pack

SuppliesMAX NCR 127022 ribbons come in a six-pack and are built to OEM specifications for NCR RealPOS 7167, 7168 and 7186 printers. They suit retail and hospitality sites that need sharp, professional output on receipts and invoices. The purple ink formulation is designed for consistent, reliable operation during high-volume business printing.

Low-Maintenance Consumable

The ribbons run in standard 110V point-of-sale machines without extra cooling or power considerations. Excellent ink retention means fewer change-outs and steady print quality over long shifts. Manufacturing in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities ensures consistent build quality and minimal operational noise.

Drop-In Replacement

Each cartridge installs directly into the listed NCR models with no firmware updates or driver changes required. The 30-day manufacturer warranty covers defects while U.S. warranty law protects the host printer's original coverage. Packaging may vary but does not affect compatibility or performance.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ribbon in my NCR 7167 RealPOS, and which step do people often miss?

Open the printer cover, remove the old cartridge, insert the new purple ribbon until it clicks, then advance the ribbon manually to take up slack before closing the cover — skipping the manual advance causes smudged first receipts.

What maintenance or replacement will the ribbon need later?

Each ribbon is single-use; when print fades or becomes spotty, replace the whole cartridge — the pack contains six ribbons, and excellent ink retention extends the interval between changes.

What limit appears first during sustained high-volume printing?

Ink depletion is the first limit; the ribbon yields consistent output until the purple ink is exhausted, at which point print density drops and the cartridge must be swapped.
