Compatible Typewriter Ribbon Pack

This six-pack of SuppliesMAX correctable ribbons replaces the Xerox 8R920 part. The ribbons are built to OEM specifications and fit machines such as the Xerox 585, Xerox 590, Wang 2201 series, Commodore DPS-1101 and CPT 4200-I. They are intended for offices that still run dedicated typewriters for forms, receipts or invoices. Buyers who need ribbons for electronic printers or modern thermal devices cannot use this product.

Sustained High-Volume Printing

The ribbons use premium materials that retain ink well during long print runs. Consistent density is maintained across repeated keystrokes, so multi-part forms stay legible from the first copy to the last. Correctable film lifts cleanly without smudging, reducing rework on official documents. The pack size supports batch replacement schedules in busy administrative environments.

Low-Maintenance Operation

Manufacturing takes place in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified facilities using new and recycled components. The design works with 110 V machines sold in the U.S. and does not void the original equipment warranty. No special cooling, power management or noise considerations apply to these mechanical consumables. Storage at normal office temperatures preserves ink quality until installation.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the SuppliesMAX 8R920 ribbon generate during continuous daily use?

The ribbon is a passive consumable with no moving parts or electronics, so it produces no heat or noise while the typewriter runs.

Which specific typewriter models must I already own for this 6-pack to work?

It fits Xerox 585 and 590, Wang 1222, 2201, 2201C and 2201L, Commodore DPS-1101 and CPT 4200-I.

Will the correctable film on these ribbons damage the print wheels on my older Wang 2201?

The ribbon is built to OEM specifications for the listed models, so the correctable film works with the existing print wheels without causing extra wear.
