Lightweight Camp Chair for Backpacking

The Sutekus folding chair weighs 3.1 lb and packs to 14.7 in x 4.5 in x 6 in, fitting inside a backpack or carry-on. A square aluminium-alloy 7075 frame with four support points holds up to 330 lb on hard, flat ground. Deep seat fabric and mesh panels add comfort for adults at campsites, festivals or sporting events.

Stability on Extended Outings

The upgraded square frame distributes weight across four points, keeping the chair steady during long sits around a fire or at a tailgate. Thickened Oxford fabric with reinforced stitching resists sagging over hours of use. Anti-sinking feet reduce penetration into sand or mud, maintaining a level seat on soft terrain throughout the day.

Upgrade from Bulkier Seats

Replaces heavy steel-frame chairs that exceed carry-on limits and lack integrated storage. The jump is worth it when packed volume and weight are critical — backpacking, motorcycle trips or airline travel — and when a 330 lb capacity on flat ground meets the user's needs. Buyers needing higher capacity or a wider seat should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How much does the 3.1 lb frame weigh when it is carried all day in a pack?

Does the 330 lb capacity chair need any extra parts or tools to set up on site?

No extra parts or tools are required; the shock-cord poles click into the frame and the seat fabric attaches directly.

Will the 7075 alloy frame and anti-sinking feet stay stable on the same soft ground where my old chair used to sink?

The upgraded square frame with four support points and anti-sinking feet are designed to reduce sinking in sand or mud.
