Modular Eyepiece for ATX Spotting Scopes

The Swarovski ATX Angled Modular Zoom Eyepiece functions as the optical body for the ATX spotting scope system. It is designed for birdwatchers, hunters and target shooters who want a single eyepiece that pairs with interchangeable objective modules. The angled viewing configuration suits users of different heights and upward-angle observation without frequent tripod adjustment.

Check Objective Compatibility and Mounting

Before ordering, confirm which modular objective you own or intend to purchase: the 65 mm or 85 mm objectives deliver 25-60x magnification, while the 95 mm objective provides 30-70x magnification. Ensure your tripod head can support the combined weight of the eyepiece and chosen objective module, and verify that the bayonet connection matches the ATX system standard.

Optics, Coatings and Handling in the Field

Fully multi-coated HD lenses and improved coating technology maximise light transmission and contrast, delivering sharp, high-definition images even in low light. The magnesium body with rubber armoring resists corrosion and provides a secure, non-slip grip in wet or cold conditions. A multi-position twist-up eyecup offers 20 mm eye relief for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses.

Questions about this item

Does the eyepiece ship with an objective module or must I buy a 65mm, 85mm or 95mm module separately?

The modular eyepiece is the viewing body only; a compatible 65mm, 85mm or 95mm objective module must be purchased separately to complete the spotting scope.

Which objective size gives the 25-60x range and which gives the 30-70x range?

Pair the eyepiece with a 65mm or 85mm objective for 25-60x magnification, or with a 95mm objective for 30-70x magnification.

How does the 20mm eye relief perform for a glasses wearer at 60x?

The 20mm eye relief and twist-up eyecup allow comfortable, full-field viewing at 60x while wearing glasses.
