  • 7× magnification boost extends reach of ATX/STX/BTX scopes
  • Bayonet catch secures extender to every objective and eyepiece module
  • BTX 65 and 85 scopes jump from 30× to 50× magnification
  • BTX 95 scope leaps from 35× to 60× for finer detail
  • Compact optical accessory adds power without bulk

Extender for ATX STX BTX scopes

The Swarovski Optik ME 1.7x Extender attaches to ATX, STX and BTX spotting scopes via a secure bayonet catch. It multiplies the existing magnification by a factor of 1.7 for observers who need greater reach. The accessory works with all objective and eyepiece modules in those three product families. Birders and long-range spotters gain a compact way to extend their current optics.

Sustained magnification boost

With the BTX 65 and 85 models the magnification rises from 30x to 50x, while the BTX 95 model moves from 35x to 60x. The extender maintains this increased power continuously during extended viewing sessions. Optical quality remains consistent across the higher magnification range. No drop-off in detail resolution occurs during prolonged use.

Bayonet attachment simplicity

The extender locks onto compatible modules with a bayonet catch that requires no tools. Alignment marks guide the connection so the unit seats correctly on the first attempt. The only common issue is attempting to fit the extender to non-ATX/STX/BTX scopes, which the bayonet prevents. Compatibility is limited to the three named series.
