Swift Green SGF-M9 Water Filtration

Compatible Refrigerator Water Filter

The Swift Green SGF-M9 is a filter cartridge designed to fit refrigerators that use part numbers such as UKF8001, EDR4RXD1, FILTER 4, EFF-6007A, 46-9005, 46-9006 and CLCH101. It is certified to NSF & ANSI 42 and 53 standards for the reduction of volatile organic compounds, chlorine taste and odour, lead, cysts, mercury and asbestos. The cartridge uses coconut shell carbon, a renewable resource, and is manufactured in the USA from BPA, lead and arsenic-free materials. Replacement is tool-free and recommended every three to six months.

Households seeking certified contaminant reduction

This filter suits homes that want independently verified reduction of the listed contaminants while retaining beneficial minerals and fluoride. It is not for installations that require a different cartridge form factor or connection type. Buyers who need a filter certified to other NSF standards or a higher flow rate should look at alternative products.

NSF & ANSI 42 and 53 certification

The single specification that decides suitability is the dual certification to NSF & ANSI 42 and 53 for the specific contaminant claims stated. If your refrigerator manual or local water quality report calls for this exact certification, the SGF-M9 meets it; if a different standard is required, this cartridge will not satisfy that requirement.
