38-piece survival kit with 70L backpack

This Swiss Gear set combines a large-capacity nylon backpack with 38 multi-function accessories for hiking, camping, fishing and general outdoor adventure. The kit includes a dedicated first-aid compartment stocked with tweezers, scissors, tape, pins, bandages, wound pads, triangular bandages and cotton buds. An axe, folding shovel, emergency tent, compass and flint are also supplied for shelter building and survival situations. The pack suits individuals or families wanting a single, ready-to-go package.

Weather-resistant nylon and load-carrying comfort

The backpack uses nylon fabric described as waterproof and cold-resistant to protect contents in wet or low-temperature conditions. At 7.9 pounds for the complete kit, the weight is distributed across the main compartment and specialised side pockets designed for phones and charging cables. No specific thermal, noise or power-draw data apply to this non-electrical product.

Included axe, shovel and medical supplies define

The 38 components arrive in a package measuring 9.84 by 9.84 by 12.2 inches and weighing 8.81 pounds, so storage space at home and packing volume in a vehicle are practical considerations. The first-aid kit and survival tools are fixed inclusions; users cannot customise the component list. Buyers who need a lighter day-pack, a modular system they can reconfigure, or specialised technical climbing gear will find this all-in-one kit does not match those requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the 70L backpack and where is the common mistake?

Load heavy items close to the back panel, tighten the hip belt before the shoulder straps, then adjust the sternum strap; the step most people skip is securing the hip belt first so the weight transfers to the hips instead of the shoulders.

What parts of the 38-piece kit will need replacement over time?

The first-aid consumables — bandages, gauze pads, adhesive tape, cotton buds and antiseptic wipes — are single-use and must be restocked after each use; metal tools such as the axe, folding shovel and compass require only occasional cleaning and lubrication.

What is the first limit I hit when carrying this 8.81 lb pack fully loaded for hours?

The 70-litre volume fills quickly with bulky gear, so the practical limit is pack volume and weight distribution rather than a specific component failure; once the main compartment and side pockets are full, additional items cannot be carried securely.
