10-Litre Waterproof Dry Bag Backpack

The Swiss Gear BT31A is a 10-litre roll-top backpack built for water sports and wet-weather travel. Seamless welding keeps contents dry during kayaking, boating, swimming and beach use, though it is not rated for underwater sports. Translucent blue nylon lets you locate items without opening the bag. One adjustable shoulder strap is included.

Thermals Noise And Power Draw

As a non-powered carry item the bag produces no heat, noise or electrical draw. The 215-gram nylon construction adds negligible weight while resisting abrasion from sand, rock and salt water. Rolled closure traps air so the loaded pack floats if dropped overboard. No batteries, fans or electronics are present.

Upgrade From Soft Bags And Cases

Replaces ordinary stuff sacks, zippered pouches or non-welded dry sacks that leak at seams. The jump is worth it when you need guaranteed seam integrity, buoyancy and quick visual access in a single 10-litre pack. Not suited for buyers who need more than 10 litres of volume, internal organisation pockets or a framed suspension system.

Questions about this item

How do I install the adjustable strap on the 10L dry bag?

Thread the single adjustable strap through the side attachment points and tighten until the bag sits securely against your back.

What maintenance will the welded seams need over time?

Rinse with fresh water after salt exposure and air-dry fully before storage; inspect seams periodically for abrasion that could compromise the waterproof weld.

At what point does the roll-top closure start to leak during prolonged immersion?

The bag is rated for surface water sports only — not underwater use — so sustained submersion will eventually force water past the rolled seal.
