Tablet bag dimensions and fit

The Swiss Gear Fox001 measures 12.5 by 9.8 by 1.3 inches and holds tablets up to 11.8 inches. An inner padded sleeve fits devices from 8 to 10 inches, including Fire HD 10, Fire HD 8, Fire 7, Kindle, iPad 10.2 and iPad mini. Water-resistant polyester and a zipper closure protect against bumps and splashes. A front pocket stores chargers, cables, earbuds and a stylus.

Who this suits and who it does not

The bag works for children who carry one tablet and a few small accessories to school or on trips. The single main compartment and one front pocket limit organisation for extra gear. Buyers needing space for multiple devices, larger laptops or bulky headphones should look at something else. The shoulder strap is included but the design is not a full backpack.

Deciding specification

The inner sleeve accepts tablets up to 11.8 inches, so any device larger than that will not fit. Measure the tablet diagonal before purchase to confirm compatibility with the 8-to-10-inch range. The 12.5 by 9.8 by 1.3-inch exterior determines whether the bag slides into a locker or larger pack.

Questions about this item

What comes inside the Fox001 Unicorn Pink Tablet Pack and what must I buy separately?

The pack includes the padded tablet sleeve with zipper closure, an adjustable shoulder strap, and a front pocket for cables and earbuds. You supply the tablet, charger, headphones and any stylus yourself.

Which version of the Fox001 should I choose for a 10.2 inch iPad versus an 8 inch Fire tablet?

The single size fits most standard tablets from 8 to 10 inches; the inner sleeve stretches to 11.8 inches, so both the 10.2 inch iPad (7th/8th/9th gen) and 8 inch Fire models fit the same pack.

How does the 12.5 x 9.8 x 1.3 inch outer dimension translate to real-world carry for a child?

The slim 1.3 inch profile keeps the bag compact on a small back, while the 13 x 9.8 inch face covers the tablet fully; the padded sleeve and water-resistant polyester protect the device during daily school runs.
