95 mm replacement fan for GTX 970 Gold Edition

This 95 mm cooling fan is built as a direct replacement for the GTX 970 Gold Edition graphics card. It matches the original mounting points and airflow profile so the card runs at its intended thermal limits. The part is sold individually without the graphics card itself.

6 hole 5 pin connector ensures correct fit

The fan uses a 6 hole 5 pin plug that is specific to the GTX 970 Gold Edition and the 970 Red Dragon models. Other variants such as the GTX 950, 960 or 980 Ti use a 4 pin connector while the GTX 980 Gaming uses a 6 hole 6 pin layout, so verifying the header before purchase avoids a mismatch.

Compact frame fits existing shroud

At 95 mm diameter the fan sits inside the stock cooler shroud without modification. The blade design and frame thickness replicate the factory unit, meaning no clearance issues arise with adjacent components or backplates. Installation requires only a small screwdriver and the original mounting screws.

Questions about this item

How often should I replace the 95mm fan on my GTX 970 Gold Edition?

Replace the fan when bearing noise increases or airflow drops enough to raise GPU temperatures under load.

What is the first limit reached when the GTX 970 Gold Edition fan runs continuously at full speed?

The 5-pin connector and 95mm blade design set the maximum airflow; sustained full speed cannot exceed that mechanical ceiling.

How much noise and heat does the 95mm GTX 970 Gold Edition fan produce during all-day operation?

At typical speeds the 95mm fan stays quiet; at 100 % duty cycle it moves more air but generates noticeable airflow noise.
