Dell D1450U USB 2.0 802.11a/b/g adapter

The SXDOOL D1450U is a Dell-branded USB 2.0 wireless LAN adapter built around a Broadcom chipset. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g on 2.4 GHz and 5.2 GHz bands with a maximum transfer rate of 54 Mbps. Security options include WPA, WEP and 802.1 x.

Maintainers of legacy Dell

This adapter suits technicians repairing older machines that only have USB 2.0 ports and require dual-band 802.11 a/b/g connectivity. It is not for builders who need 802.11 n, ac or ax speeds, WPA2 or WPA3 encryption, or support for modern Windows releases.

Maximum 54 Mbps on 802.11 a/g

The single specification that decides fit is the 54 Mbps ceiling on 802.11 a/g. If the target network or use case demands higher throughput or newer Wi-Fi standards, this adapter will not meet the requirement.
