Product identity

The SXDOOL GM1255PHV1-A is a 12 V, 1.7 W cooling fan built for BenQ and Optoma projector equipment. It measures 55 mm by 55 mm by 15 mm and uses a three-wire, three-pin connector for power and speed feedback.

Connector and voltage limits

The three-pin interface supplies 12 V DC at 1.7 W and carries a tachometer signal alongside power and ground. Polarity and pin order must match the projector header exactly; an incorrect fit will prevent the fan from spinning or reporting speed.

Compatibility checks

Verify that the existing fan housing accepts a 55 mm square frame with a 15 mm thickness and that the service manual lists the GM1255PHV1-A or 5515 as a direct replacement. Buyers who need a different voltage, a two-pin connector, or a larger airflow rating cannot use this part.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 12 V 1.7 W model or a different voltage for my BenQ or Optoma projector?

The GM1255PHV1-A runs at 12 V and draws 1.7 W; match those ratings exactly to the original fan specification in your projector.

What does the 1.7 W rating mean once the fan is installed in the projector?

It indicates the fan will consume 1.7 watts of power while providing the airflow needed to cool the projector's internal components.

How does the 3-pin connector affect speed control and monitoring in the projector?

The three pins supply 12 V power, ground and a tachometer signal so the projector can monitor fan speed and adjust cooling as needed.
