Server-grade 6038 case fan

The SXDOOL PFM0612XHE-SM02 00MW875 DL56X GEn9 6038 is a ball-bearing case fan built for Delta Electronics server platforms. It targets administrators and integrators who need reliable airflow in rack-mounted chassis. The unit ships new and ready for direct installation in compatible bays.

Replaces worn Delta 6038 units

This fan serves as a direct swap for failed or ageing Delta 6038 models carrying the same part identifiers. The upgrade is justified when bearing noise rises, RPM drops below spec or preventive maintenance schedules call for fresh ball-bearing stock. It is not suited for builds requiring PWM speed curves or consumer-form-factor mounting holes.

Questions about this item

What mounting holes does the 6038 frame use?

The 6038 frame uses the standard square mounting pattern with four screw holes at the corners.

How is the fan connected and what wiring mistake should be avoided?

Connect the two-wire lead to a 12 V header; reversing the polarity will prevent the ball-bearing motor from spinning.
