  • 8015 form factor fits standard 80 mm mounts
  • SXDOOL build quality for reliable case cooling

8 cm 4-wire case cooler

The SXDOOL R128015DH is an 8 cm case fan that runs on a 12 V supply and draws 0.32 A. Its four-wire connector enables PWM speed control for precise airflow management inside a chassis. The compact frame suits tight builds where larger fans cannot fit.

Upgrade from 3-wire 8 cm fans

Replacing a three-wire 8 cm unit adds automatic speed regulation and quieter low-load operation. The step up is worthwhile when the motherboard header supports PWM and the current fan runs at full speed constantly. Builders needing higher static pressure or larger diameters should look at different form factors.

Questions about this item

What are the mounting-hole dimensions for the 80 mm square frame of this R128015DH fan?

The fan has an 80 mm square frame; the mounting holes follow the standard 80 mm fan pattern used on cases and radiators.

How is the 4-wire connector attached to the motherboard and what common mistake should be avoided?

Align the keyed 4-pin PWM plug with the motherboard header and press straight in; forcing it upside-down bends the pins and breaks speed control.
