SYNCWIRE SW-MPH984 Dashboard Mount

The SYNCWIRE SW-MPH984 is a MagSafe-compatible dashboard phone mount finished in Space Gray. It uses N52-grade neodymium magnets to hold iPhone 12 through 17 series devices directly or through MagSafe cases. A supplied metal ring enables use with non-magnetic cases. The mount attaches to the dashboard with 3M VHB adhesive and offers 360° rotation for flexible viewing angles.

Included Metal Ring and Adhesive Prep

The package includes a metal ring that adheres to the outside of non-MagSafe cases, extending magnetic compatibility to any phone. Installation requires cleaning the dashboard area vigorously with wet wipes at least 10 times, waiting 15 seconds for the surface to dry, then pressing the mount firmly for 10 seconds. The adhesive must cure for at least 5 hours before any phone is attached.

Check Dashboard Surface and Mounting Orientation

Before ordering, verify that your dashboard offers a flat, smooth area large enough for the 1.5 in diameter mounting base. Textured, porous or heavily curved surfaces will prevent the 3M VHB pad from bonding securely. If you intend to install the mount on a vertical centre console, the unit must be affixed in an upside-down position to maintain proper phone orientation.
