24-bay rackmount NAS with Intel Xeon D-1541 8-core processor, 16GB DDR4 ECC memory, two 10GbE and five 1GbE ports, plus dual PCIe 3.0 x8 slots for expansion
Form Factor 24-bay
Installed Memory 16GB DDR4
Model FS3410
The Synology FS3410 is a 24-bay rackmount NAS built around an Intel Xeon D-1541 8-core processor running at 2.1 GHz with a 2.7 GHz boost. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 ECC RDIMM memory expandable to 128 GB across four DIMM slots. The diskless chassis accepts 2.5-inch SATA SSDs and targets organisations that need ultra-high performance for many simultaneous users.
Two 10GbE RJ-45 ports and four 1GbE RJ-45 ports provide high-throughput networking out of the box, while a dedicated 1GbE port handles out-of-band management. Two PCIe 3.0 x8 slots (x8 link) allow the addition of NICs or accelerator cards. Two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports support external backup or peripheral attachment.
The 3.46-inch high, 18.98-inch wide, 28.50-inch deep unit weighs 33.07 lbs and operates from 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. It supports Synology RAID F1, Basic, JBOD, RAID 0, 1, 5, 6 and 10 for flexible data protection. Certified compatibility with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Citrix XenServer and OpenStack with Kubernetes CSI driver simplifies virtualised deployments.
