The Synology RS3626xs is a 12-bay 2U rackmount NAS built around a Xeon D-1726 processor with 48 GB of DDR4 ECC memory. It ships fully assembled and tested with twelve 12 TB Synology Enterprise SATA drives providing 144 TB of raw capacity. Dual 10 GbE RJ-45 ports and an out-of-band management port handle high-throughput and administrative traffic.

Organisations that need redundant power supplies, ECC memory and PCIe Gen 4 expansion for additional network cards or SSD caching will fit this platform. Buyers who require more than twelve drive bays or a different drive interface should evaluate alternative platforms. Environments outside the 0 °C to 35 °C operating range are not supported.

Twelve-bay capacity defines the storage ceiling

The chassis accepts exactly twelve 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA devices and cannot be expanded internally beyond that count. Raw capacity is therefore limited to the installed 144 TB or any combination of twelve SATA drives the buyer chooses.
