19mm Cross Pipe for ARRI EVF Mounting

The SZJELEN 19mm Viewfinder Cross Pipe connects an ARRI or compatible third-party electronic viewfinder to the MVB-1 mounting bracket. It is designed for camera operators and technicians working with ARRI ALEXA Mini, Mini LF, or 35 cinema cameras. The component replaces part number K2.0013302 and serves as a direct mechanical link in the viewfinder support system.

Passive Mechanical Component

This cross pipe contains no electronics, moving parts, or active cooling. It draws zero power and generates no noise or heat during operation. Thermal performance, acoustic output, and power consumption are not applicable to this static hardware accessory.

Enables Viewfinder Positioning

The pipe works with the MVB-1 bracket and standard ARRI EVF brackets to secure the viewfinder at the required offset. It allows operators to mount the EVF eyepiece in the optimal viewing position for shoulder-mounted or tripod-based configurations. No software, cables, or additional adapters are included or required for this mechanical function.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 19mm cross pipe onto the MVB-1 bracket for the ALEXA Mini?

Slide the cross pipe into the MVB-1 bracket's receiving channel and secure it with the bracket's locking lever; the step often missed is fully tightening that lever so the pipe cannot rotate during handheld operation.

Which part of the cross pipe kit wears out first and needs replacement?

The locking lever mechanism on the MVB-1 bracket takes the most stress; if it no longer clamps the 19mm pipe rigidly, replace the bracket rather than the pipe itself.

What is the practical limit when using this cross pipe with a heavy third-party EVF on the ALEXA 35?

The 19mm tube will flex if the mounted EVF exceeds the bracket's rated load, so the first limit you hit is excessive deflection at the pipe-to-bracket joint.
