ARRI Compatible Dovetail Plate

Safety Release and Stopper Screws

Front and rear safety release buttons prevent accidental slide-off, especially when lens motors hang below the baseplate level. Two removable stopper screws add extra locking security and can be stored on the plate when not in use. No thermal, noise or power characteristics apply to this passive accessory.

Dual Thread Mounting Options

Built-in 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads allow direct attachment to tripods or quick-release plates without extra adapters. The robust aluminum alloy construction includes a weight-reducing cutout design. The plate replaces part number K2.0015896.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 300mm dovetail plate to my tripod, and which step do people often miss?

Screw the plate onto the tripod using the built-in 3/8"-16 or 1/4"-20 thread, then slide the camera forward until both front and rear safety release buttons click — the forward click is the step most users forget.

What parts might need replacing after extended use on this dovetail plate?

The two removable stopper screws and the front and rear safety release buttons are the wear items; they can be swapped out individually if they loosen or the springs fatigue.

What is the first limit I will hit when leaving a heavy rig on this plate for long shoots?

The aluminum alloy body can gradually deflect under sustained off-centre load, so the balance point shifts before any thread or latch fails.
