Mounting Block for Ronin 2

The SZJELEN Ronin Top Handle Cube adds an Arri-cube style mounting block to the Ronin 2 top mount. It is built from aluminium alloy and stainless steel and weighs 1.06 oz. The block provides a 3/8"-16 screw hole and a cold shoe adapter for attaching accessories such as magic arms, lights or monitors. It is designed for camera operators who need a lightweight, durable expansion point on their gimbal.

Integration with Gimbal Rigs

The cube slides onto the Ronin 2 top mount and secures with the included hardware, requiring no tools beyond what the gimbal supplies. Its low profile keeps the centre of gravity close to the handle, so balance adjustments stay minimal. The 3/8"-16 thread accepts standard magic arms, while the cold shoe offers a quick-release option for lightweight gear. Operators can mount a focus motor, light ranger or counterweight without reconfiguring the whole cage.

Upgrade from Basic Top Handles

This block replaces a fixed top handle or a simple cold shoe bracket that offers only one mounting point. The jump is worth it when you need both a 3/8"-16 thread and a cold shoe simultaneously, or when you want to slide a weight onto the rear for balance. It is not for users who only ever attach a single microphone or monitor and never adjust their rig.
