The T ATHINK USB C to Magnetic 3 cable connects a USB-C power adapter to compatible MacBook models using a 24-pin magnetic connector. It is built for owners of MacBook Air 13.6, 15 and MacBook Pro 14, 16 inch models from 2021 onward who want a detachable charging lead with an LED status indicator.

24-pin Magnetic 3 connector compatibility

The cable fits MacBook Pro 14 and 16 inch models with M1 through M5 chips from 2021 to 2026, plus MacBook Air 13.6 and 15 inch models from 2022 to 2026. It will not work with any MacBook released in 2020 or earlier, nor with second-generation MagSafe 2 ports or standard USB-C ports that lack the Magnetic 3 interface.

Braided 6.6ft cable with silicone tie

A nylon-braided sheath and a supplied silicone strap keep the 6.6ft length tangle-free during transport. The magnetic tip snaps into place without force, but debris in the port can weaken the hold; the LED shows yellow while charging and turns green at 100 per cent, so a stuck colour usually means the connector needs reseating.
