Avocado Saver Set of Four

This set provides four reusable containers designed to store halved avocados, tomatoes, lemons, onions and similar produce. Each container uses a rotating lid with a food-grade silicone film to create an airtight seal that keeps contents fresh. The BPA-free construction helps reduce disposable plastic use in the kitchen.

Suits Home Cooks Reducing Waste

These containers work well for anyone who regularly stores partial fruits and vegetables and wants to avoid cling film or single-use bags. They are not suited for buyers who need microwave-safe or dishwasher-safe containers, as the set is hand-wash only and not rated for microwave use.

Rotating Lid and Silicone Film

The upgraded rotating lid mechanism allows the container to be opened and sealed repeatedly without wear. The elastic silicone film stretches over cut surfaces to minimise air exposure, preventing flavour transfer between items and extending freshness without additional accessories.

Questions about this item

Do I need matching lids or seals to use these four brown containers?

Each container has a built-in rotating lid with a soft silicone film that creates an airtight seal, so no separate lids or seals are required.

Will the brown silicone film stretch enough to seal around a large tomato or half an avocado?

The upgraded food-grade silicone film is highly elastic and designed to hug cut surfaces of tomatoes, avocados, onions and similar produce for a leak-proof fit.

How can I confirm the airtight seal is working after I close the rotating lid?

Press the centre of the silicone film; it should feel taut and slightly concave with no air escaping when you press the container gently.
