Tai-Hao Baby Miami 104-key PBT set

The Tai-Hao KDTHUS104 C02BP201 is a 104-key keycap set moulded in durable double-shot PBT. The legends resist wear, high temperature and friction, and the set follows the ANSI layout common in North America. A plastic keycap puller is included in the package.

Mechanical keyboard owners

Enthusiasts who want a long-wearing, high-contrast set for a full-size ANSI board will appreciate the thick PBT construction. Users who need ISO, JIS or compact layouts should look elsewhere because the kit only covers the standard 104-key arrangement.

ANSI 104-key layout with Cherry-compatible stems

The single specification that decides fit is the ANSI 104-key layout combined with stems that accept all Cherry-compatible switches. If your keyboard uses a different layout or a non-Cherry stem, this set will not match your board.

Questions about this item

Does the 104-key ANSI layout fit a standard full-size mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX-style switches?

Yes, the set follows the North American ANSI layout and is compatible with all Cherry-compatible switches, so it fits standard full-size boards that use that stem type.

How do I install the keycaps without damaging the stems, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Use the included plastic puller to remove old caps, then press each new PBT cap straight down onto the stem; the common mistake is pulling caps off at an angle, which can crack the stem or the keycap.

Will the legends on these double-shot PBT keycaps fade, and do the caps need any special cleaning later?

The double-shot moulding means legends are moulded through the cap and will not wear off; occasional gentle cleaning with a keycap puller and mild soapy water keeps them looking new.
