Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD Lens (Sony E) + Filter Kit + Cleaning Kit

Versatile Sony E-mount zoom

This Tamron 17-50mm f/4 Di III VXD lens covers full-frame Sony E-mount cameras with a constant f/4 aperture across the entire zoom range. The VXD linear motor focus system provides fast, quiet autofocus suitable for both stills and video work. A moisture-resistant build and fluorine coating add durability for outdoor use. The kit bundles the lens with a 67mm filter set, cleaning kit, lens hood and cap keeper.

Creators needing one flexible lens

Photographers and videographers who want a single optic for architecture, landscapes, portraits and everyday scenes will appreciate the ultra-wide to normal focal range. The constant aperture maintains exposure while zooming, simplifying run-and-gun shooting. Buyers who require a wider maximum aperture for shallow depth of field or low-light primes should consider other options. Those needing focal lengths beyond 50mm will need a second lens.

Constant f/4 aperture across 17-50mm

The fixed f/4 maximum aperture does not change as you zoom from 17mm to 50mm, delivering predictable exposure and consistent depth-of-field control throughout the range. This specification determines whether the lens matches a workflow that relies on steady aperture performance while framing varied subjects. The 67mm filter thread diameter is shared by the included filter kit.
