Versatile full-frame zoom for Nikon Z

The Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di III VXD G2 covers a wide-to-portrait range on full-frame Nikon Z mirrorless bodies. A constant f/2.8 maximum aperture supports low-light work and shallow depth of field across the zoom. The kit adds 67mm close-up lenses, UV, CPL and FLD filters, a tulip hood, cap keeper, blower, cleaning pen, cloth and starter cleaning kit for immediate use.

Z-mount native with 67mm accessory thread

The lens mounts directly to Nikon Z cameras without adapters and accepts 67mm threaded accessories supplied in the kit. Its VXD linear motor focus mechanism drives fast, quiet autofocus for stills and video. A minimum focusing distance of 7.1 inches allows close-up detail work. The Tamron Lens Utility connector port enables firmware updates and customisation via the dedicated software.

Consistent f/2.8 brightness through the range

The constant f/2.8 aperture maintains exposure stability while zooming from 28mm to 75mm, avoiding the light loss typical of variable-aperture zooms. Updated optical construction delivers higher resolution and improved sharpness under sustained shooting. The VXD motor maintains responsive focus tracking during extended sessions without the hunting associated with slower drive systems.
