Versatile 8x Zoom for Sony E-Mount

The Tamron 50-400mm f/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD covers wide-angle to ultra-telephoto in a single compact lens measuring 7.2 inches long. It is built for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras and suits photographers who want one lens for landscapes, wildlife, sports and portraits without changing glass.

Included Filters and Cleaning Gear

The bundle adds a three-piece 67mm filter kit, a camera cleaning kit and a lens cap keeper. These accessories protect the front element, keep optics clean and prevent lost caps, so the lens stays ready for extended shooting sessions in varied conditions.

Close-Focus Macro and Telephoto Reach

At 50mm the lens focuses as close as 9.8 inches for 0.5x magnification, enabling detailed close-ups alongside distant subjects. The variable aperture of f/4.5-6.3 and 400mm maximum focal length mean low-light performance and depth-of-field control diminish at the long end, limiting use for fast indoor action or shallow-focus portraits at maximum zoom.

The VXD linear motor runs quietly with minimal heat; the lens body remains comfortable to hold.
