Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Lens Bundle

The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VC VXD G2 is a full-frame zoom lens built for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It covers a versatile 70-180mm focal range with a constant f/2.8 maximum aperture. The bundle adds a 64GB memory card, 67mm filter kit, pro sling backpack, lens case, 12 inch flexible tripod, cap keeper, cleaning kit, card wallet, card reader and hand grip strap.

Suits Sony E-mount full-frame shooters

Photographers who need a fast telephoto zoom for portraits, events or sports on a Sony full-frame body will benefit from the constant aperture and vibration compensation. Buyers using APS-C E-mount cameras can mount the lens but lose the intended field of view. Those requiring wider angles, longer reach beyond 180mm or a different lens mount should look elsewhere.

Build-ready with included accessories

The lens mounts directly to any Sony E-mount full-frame camera without an adapter. The 67mm filter thread accepts the supplied filter kit for protection or creative effects. The backpack and lens case store the optic and bundled accessories together. The flexible tripod and hand grip strap support stable handheld or tabletop shooting, while the card reader and wallet streamline image transfer.

Questions about this item

Which camera mount must my Sony mirrorless body use for this Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 lens to attach directly?

The lens is built for the Sony E-mount, so any full-frame or APS-C Sony mirrorless camera with that mount will accept it natively.

Will the 67mm filter threads on this Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 lens accept the circular polariser I already own?

Yes, the front filter diameter is 67mm, matching the filter kit included in the bundle and any other 67mm threaded filter you currently use.

How can I verify the Vibration Compensation is actually stabilising handheld shots at 180mm?

Half-press the shutter and watch the viewfinder — the image should steady noticeably; then shoot a burst at 180mm and confirm sharp frames at slower shutter speeds.
