Tamron 90mm Macro Lens for Nikon Z

This bundle provides a 90mm f/2.8 macro lens for Nikon Z-mount cameras alongside a 64 GB memory card, filter kit, pouch, hood, caps, cleaning kit, card reader and cap keeper. It suits photographers who want true 1:1 magnification for close-up work and a versatile short telephoto focal length for portraits. The moisture-resistant build and fluorine coating support use in varied conditions.

Sustained close-focus performance

The lens maintains its 1:1 magnification at a minimum focusing distance of 9.1 inches, allowing extended macro sessions without losing detail. A focus limiter switch reduces hunting during repeated autofocus cycles, while the 12-blade diaphragm keeps bokeh smooth across the aperture range. BBAR-G2 and fluorine coatings resist flare and contamination during long shoots.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Confirm your camera uses the Nikon Z mount, as this lens will not fit other systems. Verify that your workflow can accommodate the included 64 GB card format and that you have a slot or reader for it. The bundle’s filter kit threads match the lens front, so no step-up rings are needed for those filters.

Questions about this item

Does the 12-blade diaphragm create noisy aperture changes during long macro sessions?

The 12-blade diaphragm is a mechanical iris for smooth bokeh and 12-ray starbursts; it does not generate electronic noise while the lens is in use.

Which camera body mount is required to use the Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di III VXD Macro Lens?

The lens is built for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras and will not function on other mounts without an adapter.

Can the 64 GB memory card store RAW files from older Nikon DSLRs as well as this Z-mount lens?

Yes, the 64 GB card is a standard SDXC media that works with any camera accepting SD cards, including legacy Nikon DSLRs.
