Tamron HA004 Lens Hood for SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens

Custom Fit for SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD

The Tamron HA004 Lens Hood is a dedicated accessory designed exclusively for the Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens. It attaches securely to the front of the lens to block stray light and provide a physical barrier against accidental impacts. Photographers using this specific focal length will find it essential for maintaining optical performance in challenging lighting conditions. It serves both as a protective shield and an image-quality tool.

Verify Lens Model and Mount Compatibility

Before ordering, confirm that you own the exact Tamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di VC USD Lens, as this hood is engineered solely for that model. Check the filter thread diameter on your lens barrel to ensure it matches the hood's attachment mechanism. Using this accessory on any other lens, even with a similar focal length or maximum aperture, will result in an improper fit or vignetting. No adapter rings are included or recommended for alternative mounting.

Consistent Flare Control During Extended Shooting

Under sustained use, such as long portrait sessions or outdoor events, the hood maintains its rigid structure and alignment to continuously suppress flare and ghosting from side light sources. Its durable construction resists warping or loosening even after repeated mounting and removal cycles throughout the day. The deep profile consistently shades the front element, preserving contrast and colour fidelity across hundreds of frames. It also keeps the glass free from fingerprints and environmental debris during prolonged handling.
