Nikon F Mount Wide Prime

The Tamron SP 45mm f/1.8 Di VC USD is a wide-angle prime lens designed for Nikon F mount FX format cameras. It offers a slightly broader perspective than a standard 50mm lens with a bright f/1.8 maximum aperture. The optical design includes one LD element and two aspherical elements to control aberrations. This kit bundles the lens with a 7-piece accessory set including filters and cleaning tools.

Check Camera Mount And Filter Thread

Before ordering, confirm your camera body uses the Nikon F mount to ensure physical and electronic compatibility. The lens accepts 67mm front filters, which matches the included UV filter and tulip hood diameter. Verify that your shooting style benefits from a fixed 45mm focal length rather than a zoom range. The minimum focus distance is 11.4 inches with 1:3.4 maximum magnification for close-up work.

Stabilised Quiet Operation

VC image stabilization helps reduce camera shake during handheld shooting at slower shutter speeds. A ring-type USD motor delivers fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual focus override for precise adjustments. The rounded 9-blade diaphragm produces smooth background rendering at wider apertures. Fluorine coating on the front element resists moisture and smudges during regular use.
