Tailored Fit for HP Elite x2 1012

The Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen AST030USZ is designed specifically for the HP Elite x2 1012. It suits professionals who handle confidential data on a 12.0 inch 3:2 display. The filter attaches directly to the notebook screen.

Viewing Angle Limited to 30 Degrees

The privacy layer constrains visibility to 30 degrees from either side of centre. Anyone outside that narrow cone sees a darkened screen. This single specification decides whether the filter meets your security requirements.

Reusable Strips Allow Quick Installation

Silicon adhesive strips mount the filter without permanent residue. You can choose the glossy or matte side to match lighting conditions. The layer also reduces blue light and cuts glare while adding brightness compared with some alternatives. It requires a clean 12.0 inch 3:2 panel and frees you from clip-on frames.

Questions about this item

How does the 30° viewing-angle limit work on a 12.0" 3:2 display?

The filter restricts clear visibility to straight-on viewing; anyone beyond 30° left or right sees only a darkened screen, protecting on-screen data in open-plan offices or while travelling.

What does the silicon adhesive strip mounting mean for daily use?

Reusable strips let you attach and remove the filter repeatedly without residue, so you can switch between glossy and matte finishes or take it off for cleaning.

Will the 12.0" 3:2 filter fit the HP Elite x2 1012 without covering sensors or bezels?

It is cut specifically for that model, so the active area aligns with the screen and leaves the front-facing camera and ambient-light sensor exposed.
