Private viewing with 2.1 filter

The Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen Filter narrows the visible angle of a monitor so that only the person sitting directly in front can read the display. It is designed for office workers and mobile professionals who handle confidential data in shared or public spaces.

Simple magnetic or adhesive fitting

The filter attaches to the monitor bezel using the included magnetic strips or adhesive tabs, requiring no tools. The main issue is selecting the correct physical size for the specific screen; an incorrect match leaves gaps or covers part of the image.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 4Vu Privacy Screen Filter is working after I attach it to my monitor?

After fitting the filter, view the screen from directly in front — content should be clear. Then move to a side angle of roughly thirty degrees or more; the display should darken and become unreadable, confirming the privacy layer is active.

What comes in the box with the Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen Filter 2.1, and do I need to buy any mounting accessories separately?

The package includes the privacy filter itself. Mounting tabs or adhesive strips are typically supplied with the filter, so no extra mounting kit is required for standard installation.
