Fits Dell U3417W 21:9 display

The Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen is made for the Dell U3417W ultrawide monitor. It limits the viewing angle so only the person centred in front of the screen can read the content. The filter suits professionals who handle confidential data in shared or open-plan spaces.

Viewing angle limited to 30° either side

Anyone outside a 30° cone from the centre sees a darkened screen. The filter also cuts blue light to reduce eye fatigue and includes an antimicrobial surface that resists bacterial growth. An anti-reflective coating controls glare without adding a separate layer.

Adhesive strips allow quick attachment

Reusable silicone adhesive strips fix the screen to the bezel in seconds without tools. Alignment must be precise on the curved ultrawide panel; misplacement can leave visible gaps or bubbles. The filter adds a slight thickness to the display front.

Questions about this item

Does the 21:9 aspect ratio match my Dell U3417W?

Yes, the filter is built for the Dell U3417W and matches its 21:9 ultra-wide format exactly.

What does the 30° viewing angle mean at my desk?

Content stays clear straight ahead but darkens beyond 30° left or right, so side viewers see only a dim screen.

How does the 12% brighter claim affect daily use?

The screen transmits more light than comparable filters, giving a clearer image without raising monitor brightness.
