Targus ACA48GLZ 65 W DC Converter Docking Station

Power Converter for Legacy Docks

This 65 W DC converter expands Targus DOCK310, DOCK315 and DOCK180 stations so they can charge a host laptop while powering connected peripherals. It ships with five interchangeable tips — 3P, 3L, 3H1, 3I2 and 3X6 — that cover most standard laptop power inputs. A detachable tip storage bar keeps the adapters organised inside a bag or briefcase. The unit is TAA compliant for government procurement requirements.

Limited to 65 W Output and Supported Docks

The converter delivers up to 65 W of power, so laptops that require a higher charging rate will not reach full speed or may not charge at all while under load. It only functions with the three listed Targus dock models; other docks or standalone chargers are not supported. No data or video signals pass through the device — it solely converts the dock’s DC supply for host power delivery.

Handles Typical Business Laptops Within 65 W

The five included tips accommodate the majority of mainstream business notebooks that draw 65 W or less, allowing simultaneous system operation and battery charging. Machines with larger power bricks or proprietary connectors beyond the supplied tip set will need a separate power source. The compact form factor fits in a laptop bag pocket, making it practical for mobile workers who rely on the supported dock ecosystem.
