Bluetooth Audio Transmitter & Receiver

The Targus ACA973GL is a 2-in-1 device that adds wireless audio to wired headphones or speakers. It functions as both a transmitter and a receiver for flexible listening setups. The compact black unit includes a 3.5 mm aux cable and a USB-A to Micro USB charging cable. A built-in indicator light shows the connection status clearly.

For single-device wireless audio upgrades

This suits anyone wanting to stream audio from a phone to wired headphones or send TV sound to a headset. Multi-point support lets you pair two source devices at once for convenient switching. It is not for users who need aptX HD or LDAC codec support for higher-bitrate streaming. Buyers requiring simultaneous output to multiple headphones should look at a different solution.

9-hour rechargeable battery life

The internal lithium polymer battery delivers up to 9 hours of continuous playback on a full charge. Recharging uses the supplied USB-A to Micro USB cable for broad compatibility. Battery duration determines how long you can listen between charges. Plan charging intervals around this runtime for uninterrupted use.

Should I choose the transmitter mode or the receiver mode on the ACA973GL for my setup?

Use transmitter mode to send audio from a non-Bluetooth source to wireless headphones, and receiver mode to stream audio from a phone to a wired speaker.

What does the 32.81 ft range figure mean when I use the device in a typical room?

The 32.81 ft (10 m) range is the maximum line-of-sight distance; walls and interference will reduce the practical coverage.
