Dual Wireless Mouse for Multi-Device Users

The Targus AMB582GL is a midsize wireless mouse built for people who switch between a laptop, a desktop and a tablet. It connects through a 2.4 GHz receiver or Bluetooth 5.0 and remembers up to three paired devices. An included AA battery powers the unit.

Adjustable DPI up to 2400

Sensitivity steps are 800, 1200, 1600 and 2400 dpi, selectable with a button on the body. The single specification that decides fit is the maximum 2400 dpi ceiling — buyers who need higher resolution for ultra-high-DPI screens or competitive gaming will need a different sensor.

Fits Mixed OS Setups Without Extra Dongles

Works with Windows, macOS and Chrome OS using either wireless mode, so a single mouse covers a heterogeneous desk. The antimicrobial coating reduces surface microbes without requiring cleaning chemicals. It does not support wired operation or rechargeable batteries, so users who prefer a cable or built-in charging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 2400 DPI setting feel in daily use?

At 2400 DPI the cursor moves briskly across a full-HD screen with small hand movements, while the lower 800, 1200 and 1600 steps give finer control for detailed work.

What does the Bluetooth 5.0 connection actually support?

Bluetooth 5.0 pairs the mouse with up to three devices alongside the 2.4 GHz dongle, letting you switch between a laptop, tablet and desktop without re-pairing.

What do I need to mount or power the mouse?

The mouse runs on one included AA battery; no charging cable or special mount is required — just insert the battery and connect via the 2.4 GHz receiver or Bluetooth.
