Privacy screen for 16" Lenovo ThinkPad

The Targus ASF16W1GL is a 4Vu privacy filter designed specifically for 16-inch Lenovo ThinkPad laptops. It limits the viewing angle to protect on-screen data from side glances. The accessory is TAA compliant for government and institutional procurement. It ships new and ready for immediate installation.

Magnetic or adhesive attachment options

The filter attaches to the laptop display using included magnetic strips or adhesive tabs, requiring no tools or permanent modification. It fits within the existing bezel so the lid closes normally and the webcam remains uncovered. The thin profile adds negligible bulk to the device.

Includes cleaning cloth and installation guide

A microfibre cleaning cloth is bundled to remove dust and fingerprints before application. The printed guide walks through both magnetic and adhesive mounting methods step by step. These accessories ensure a bubble-free fit and simplify future removal or repositioning.

Questions about this item

How well does the 16-inch filter hold up to daily cleaning and handling?

The 4Vu filter is designed for regular touch and wipe-down on a 16-inch panel without degrading the privacy layer.

Does the screen affect heat buildup or fan noise during long sessions?

The thin filter adds no measurable insulation, so laptop thermals and fan behaviour stay the same as without it.

What must match on my laptop for this filter to fit correctly?

Your device needs a 16-inch display with a compatible aspect ratio so the filter covers the active area exactly.
