Magnetic Privacy Screen for 15-inch MacBook Pro

The Targus ASM154MBP6GL magnetic privacy screen fits MacBook Pro 15-inch models from 2016 through 2019. It attaches with built-in magnets so no adhesives are required and the display stays residue-free. The filter is touchscreen compatible and can be removed or reapplied in seconds. It is designed for professionals who handle confidential data in shared spaces.

60-degree viewing angle under daily use

The privacy filter limits visibility to a 60-degree total viewing angle, or 30 degrees to each side of centre. Onlookers outside that cone see only a darkened screen while the user retains a clear view. Anti-glare coating and blue-light filtering reduce eye strain during long sessions in bright cafés or on flights. Performance remains consistent whether the screen is kept on all day or swapped on and off between meetings.

Magnet mounting and daily handling

Magnetic attachment means the filter aligns automatically and lifts away without leaving marks on the glass. The clear finish preserves colour accuracy for design work while still blocking side views. Because no adhesive strips are used, there is no risk of peeling residue when the screen is removed for storage. The slim profile allows the MacBook to close normally with the filter in place.
