HD3 Gaming Chill Mat for 18-inch laptops

The Targus AWE57US cooling pad supports high-performance laptops up to 18 inches with a HydroDynamic triple fan system. A precise dial adjusts fan speeds up to 3300 RPM without looking away from the screen. The durable aluminium alloy grill stays cool to the touch and resists sliding on the desk.

Thermals noise and power draw

Three ultra-quiet fans use bearings rated for twice the lifespan of standard cooling fans. Advanced airflow straighteners focus air on critical components while reducing turbulence. Power comes from a USB connection so no external adapter is required. The front-corner LED shows power status at a glance.

Dial control and stable footprint

The tactile speed dial lets you balance cooling and noise instantly during gameplay or heavy workloads. Non-skid elastomer feet keep the 12 by 16.14 inch pad firmly planted on smooth surfaces. An industrial perforated grill improves heat dissipation without adding bulk. The unit weighs 2.0 lbs and stands 1.14 inches tall.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Targus AWE57US and what step is often missed?

Place the mat on a flat surface, connect the USB cable to the laptop, then turn the precise dial to set the fan speed; the step people miss is adjusting the dial instead of leaving it at minimum.

What maintenance will the Targus AWE57US cooling pad need later?

The HydroDynamic triple fan system uses bearings rated for twice the standard lifespan, so only occasional dust removal from the aluminum alloy grill and intake vents is required.

What limit appears first on the Targus AWE57US during sustained use?

The maximum fan speed of 3300 RPM is the ceiling; once the dial reaches that setting the airflow cannot increase further regardless of load.
